With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Chen specializes in advanced lower limb prosthetics and leads our clinical team. He holds a Doctorate in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Northwestern University and is certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics.
Biography
Dr. Robert Chen brings over 15 years of specialized experience in prosthetics to Aero Prosthetics. As Chief Prosthetist, he leads our clinical team with a focus on advanced lower limb prosthetic solutions. His expertise in microprocessor knees and sports-specific prosthetics has helped countless patients regain mobility and pursue active lifestyles.
After earning his Doctorate in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Northwestern University, Dr. Chen completed advanced training in biomechanics and gait analysis. His research on optimizing prosthetic alignment for various activities has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Chen is passionate about personalized care and takes time to understand each patient's unique needs, goals, and lifestyle. He believes in a collaborative approach, working closely with physical therapists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Chen is an active educator, regularly presenting at professional conferences and mentoring the next generation of prosthetists.
